Samuel Morillon appointed Senior Vice President for Siemens Energy Asia Pacific Hub
The region covers 16 countries and has more than 2,300 employees
SINGAPORE, November 1, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Siemens Energy appointed Samuel Morillon as senior vice president of the Asia-Pacific hub, which is one of the fastest growing regions for Siemens Energy in the world. Situated at Singapore, Morillon’s appointment takes effect from November 1, 2021, and he will oversee all Siemens Energy business units in the region.
With a heritage of more than 170 years and a regional workforce of more than 2,300 employees in 16 countries, Siemens Energy has a strong presence in Asia Pacific, supporting the company and marking important milestones throughout the region.

Morillon joined Siemens in 2011 as Vice President of Strategy and Sales in France and country coordinator of EU funds. His tenure at Siemens also includes a position in Iran for over three years, where he was Vice President of Siemens SSK and, subsequently, its Managing Director. Most recently, he was appointed Managing Director of Siemens Energy in France in January 2020.
With an engineering background from the SupmÃ©ca Institute of Mechanics of Paris, Morillon also holds a Master in Finance from ESC Clermont Business School in France and an MBA from INSEAD (France– Singapore).
